2009  The Examiner  Monday, March 30 (Peterborough, ON). "A story that Hasn't Been Told" by Fiona Isaacson. Profile of Alice Olsen Williams and the three "Our Quilt of Recognition" quilts on display at Trent University. Initiated by Alice Olsen Williams, this is a project of the Residential School Quilt Committee in Peterborough in collaboration with the Canadian TRC (Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission).

2007/2008  Annual Report: Non-Insured Health Benefits Program, First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. Published by Health Canada. Illustration "Midewiwin Women's Colours" quilt by Alice Olsen Williams, (p. 62).

2006  Anishinabek News, Published by the Union of Ontario Indians (North Bay, ON), December.  "Voices of the People: National Chief Phil Fontaine Accepts a Quilt from Alice Williams." The master quilter from Curve Lake First Nation put out a call across Canada for submission of blocks. Contributions came from men, women and children. The quilt was presented to the Assembly of First Nations during the launch of the Make Poverty History campaign at the Canadian Aboriginal Festival in Toronto's SkyDome.
